Art collections by their very nature leave legacies. What if a work of art in your collection was also the key for insights about you and your life? Markus Pierson created this series of unique "Sentinel" sculptures with that goal in mind - to both pay homage to important life experiences, as well as safeguard them for future generations.

Through his "Sentinels", Pierson has taken The Coyote Series to yet another perceptive place. His quest to create a distinctive vision and manifest it through the use of diverse mediums has resulted in an entirely new space of artistic expression. Each sculpture is hand-worked, incorporating elements of painting, lithography, sculpting, found-object placement, and Pierson's hallmark creative writing which has distinguished him around the world.
